I created Flamingtutu because I always found it hard to find leotards that fit me well. I have a very narrow and long torso. So, they were always either too baggy when I got the right length or too short when I got the correct width. I could never win. When I was fifteen, I was determined to make a leotard that fit, so I made my first leotard. It wasn’t the greatest of quality, but it FIT!

I was so excited. I started to make more and improved my quality as I went. My friends started coming to me asking to buy leotards. They had also felt that they couldn’t find leotards that were comfortable for their body type. I was able to take their measurements and give them a leotard that they wanted to spend all day wearing.

My friends also loved the fact that it was so special and unique. They got to design it with the colors and styles they wanted. No one else had the same leotard that they did. I enjoyed it so much and have kept it up. I not only sell custom-fit but customizable dancewear.

Now in my twenties, married, and teaching, I hope to continue sharing this wonderful gift that God has blessed me with by providing dancers with comfort and confidence all around the U.S.
